When you submit an inquiry or RFQ we collect the details you provide: name, email address, and the part number / requirement text. Standard technical logs (IP address, pages visited, user agent) are collected for security and basic site analytics.
2. How we use it
Inquiry details are used to answer your request, prepare quotations and follow up on the sourcing conversation you started. Technical logs are used to operate and protect the website. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Where it is processed
Inquiry emails are delivered through our email service provider and stored in our business mailbox. Website data is hosted on our infrastructure provider. Both act as processors on our behalf.
4. Retention
Inquiry records are kept for as long as needed to support the business relationship, then deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion of your inquiry data at any time.
5. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data you submitted by contacting info@socontrols.com. We respond within a reasonable period.
